CPAP trials
A CPAP trial gives you the chance to use a device at home, with support from our team, before any longer-term decisions are made about your therapy.
Complete Sleep Care offers trials to patients who have been newly diagnosed with sleep apnoea, and to patients who are already on therapy and would like more support using their device.
Who a CPAP trial is for
Our trials are designed around two situations. If you are not sure which applies to you, our team is happy to talk it through.
If you have recently been diagnosed, a trial is a comfortable way to begin. You can get used to sleeping with a device, try different mask styles and ask questions as they come up.
Already using CPAP and wanting more support
If you have a device but are finding it difficult to use consistently, our team can review your set-up and work with you on fit and comfort so therapy becomes easier to stick with.
What a trial involves
Consultation and set-up
We meet with you, talk through your diagnosis and fit you with a device and mask to suit.
Support along the way
Our team is available during the trial if something is uncomfortable or not working as it should.
Trial at home
You use the device in your own bed and your own routine, which is where therapy has to work.
Review and next steps
At the end of the trial we look at how you went together and discuss what suits you longer term.
